new house!

we moved in today. our beautiful house will unfortunately not have water until monday. so mooching will be the theme of our weekend.  here are some lovely pictures of our place... actually just check facebook.

i'm too hungry right now to wait for pictures to load.  but i took a shower so i feel peachy!  tomorrow the big stuff comes from Indy with the R's (and Ross too : D) and we start to give it some character.  more pictures will  be taken, not to fret.

family vacation update

we're at this sweet condo down on lake monroe off of a golf course!  nothing beats a family vacation after 5 years of not having one. we fell quite thoroughly spoiled with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining, and living area... access to tennis courts, golf, and a swimming pool!  the best ever!

we spend our time doing 80's workout videos like "Buns of Steel,"  and hanging out in the pool.

picture three very unprepared girls trying to carry a canoe down this lovely path...and stairs.. i'm pretty sure i have at least 2 bruises to show for it, besides being sore, but it was adventurous!  lets just say next time we make sure it's possible before we get stuck.

it's sideways, but the trail basically drops off to this lovely rocky slope which made for slow going. i don't want to think about coming back up later

and then the lovely scenery.

some leaves, all from the same bush, but all different.

more pictures will come as i get them off of the various cameras we have.  ; )

good things come in time

yep. i have the job.  GOD is good!  He didn't have to give me the job to prove it, i knew it was true, but of course it's quite handy to have one.

heres what i've got so far:

summer winds down

i'm on my way to try one more time.  its been over 3 weeks now and i'm tired of trying.  ideally i'll have a job by the end of the week and start training on the 7th, but either way, God knows what he's doing and that I can trust Him to provide for all that i need.

times are crazy.  life is a rollercoaster that feels endless and impossible sometimes.

family vacationating this week, probably starting tomorrow. i'm excited.  i have MUCH to do including packing up my stuff, moving, finding a job!, changing my major and class schedule around completely (yeah, less than a month before school starts), annnd set up a house with utilities and whatnot.  ieeyieeyiee.  i know it'll be a process and i'm really very ready for change, but its all so up in the air financially its hard to be excited.

i think that was the first concrete, clear, and straight forward thing i've written on here for awhile.

Ross was up this weekend and it was so good... sigh.  i know distance is perhaps not always a bad thing for relationships, but in almost 10 months thats ALL we've known, except for the first part of summer.  regardless of how hard it is, i'm so thankful to have him in my life and be part of his.  !!

have a great week peeps!
